Metuchen Stands in Solidarity Against Hate

Sunday August 13th was a night where the Metuchen community joined hands with communities across the nation as we stand up to hate and bigotry in the aftermath of the horrific actions in Charlottesville and continued rhetoric across the nation.
The event was filled with speakers from local mosque, synagogues and churches as well as representatives from the NAACP and Metuchen Mayor, Pete Cammarano. As we came together to sing “We Shall Overcome” we are reminded that we can and we will stand up to hate and that above all else, hate truly has no home here.
Thank you to our speakers and emcee, Councilwoman Linda Koskoski.
