Councilmember
Lisa grew up in Metuchen and returned 20 years ago to raise her family. She received a BFA in Acting/Theater Arts, with a dual minor in Communications and Psychology from Syracuse University Suma Cum Laude. In addition to working as an actor/improvisor/comedienne/writer for many years, she has been an event coordinator, production manager, and sales manager. Once back in town, she served on the boards of Family Friends, Temple Emanu El, MMP Swim and Dive, and was president of Edgar Middle School PTO. Lisa became the director/producer of the Temple Emanu El youth theater program which she expanded into a partnership with St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. She also taught youth theater programs via Zoom through our recreation department. Lisa works at Elefante Music and School for the Performing Arts as a Theater Arts teacher as well as their Director of Marketing and Development. She was elected to the Metuchen Borough Council in 2022 and has served as liaison on the Metuchen CARES and the Parade committees. Lisa has enjoyed being on the council and looks forward to continued service to the community.
