Executive Board – Treasurer
Jerred, Michele, and his family moved to Metuchen in 2014. They live on Upland Avenue in District 5 in a wonderful neighborhood. The Cooks are heavily invested in the community and they love everything about Metuchen. Both of the Cook kids attend Metuchen’s outstanding public schools and enjoy many activities via the schools and the Borough. Michele is a teacher in Union County and serves as one of our Metuchen School District Board Members.
Jerred currently serves as the Metuchen Democratic Committee’s Treasurer. He is humbled to have been re-elected as District 5 Democratic Committee Member for his second term. Jerred is heavily involved in our community coaching his kids in baseball, softball, soccer, basketball, robotics, and as a volunteer at the Metuchen Library assisting with Coder Dojo. These past 4 years, Jerred worked diligently to help build the Metuchen Momentum Robotics Program in cooperation with the Metuchen School District Administration at both the Metuchen High School and Edgar Middle School. He is also very proud to be an active member of Metuchen’s local Elks Lodge #1914. Many people will also know Jerred from the Metuchen Soccer Club as he has been a key volunteer helping to run the club for the past 9 years.
