DESCRIPTION:This event honors the fifth anniversary of Trayvon Martin’s killing. It will involve a reflection\, reading\, singing\, and candle lighting\, and a silent march for Trayvon and all the people harmed by police officers\, security guards\, and vigilantes supported by a system of racially coded violence against people of color.\nThose of you can’t make it\, please light a candle for Trayvon and post it to this page and your own facebook profile in his honor.\nOur march will end at a TBD location\, where there will be open mic performances (monologues\, commentary\, poetry\, etc) on police brutality and racial violence.
