Indivisible Central NJ – General Meeting

All hands on deck! Let’s get together for our 4th general assembly meeting to discuss next steps and the subcommittees research.
General meeting to continue developing the direction and organization of our local chapter. Please come join us if you live in the 6th, 7th, or 12th congressional districts. We will be leading a brief discussion on best ways to contact and WHO to contact for many of our issues and concerns and breaking back into our huddles for group exercises. More info to come. Some logistic notes about the event:
If you are unfamiliar with events held at the Old Franklin Schoolhouse, some parking tips:
1) It’s street parking, friends. That means you can park on that section of Rt 27 or on any side streets. Some people choose to park in the municipal parking lot directly across the street- please just be careful crossing.
2) The parking lot directly next to the schoolhouse is for the YMCA offices/Masons and we do not have permission to use it.
3) There are public lots that you can enter on Pearl Street and parking is FREE after 6pm. (at meters or in lots)
4) Come early and have dinner downtown!! Metuchen has many fine places to eat. There is also the new large parking deck at the far end of Pearl Street- that is NOT free.
Most of all- please remember to bring non perishable food for our local food pantry. The venue was kind enough to host us in exchange for help in the community!
