Build the Movement for $15 NOW!

Over the past several months, we’ve seen a tremendous surge in grassroots political action opposing the destructive policies of the Trump administration. From the historical Women’s March in Washington, DC to the airport protests that helped push back on Trump’s anti-Muslim travel ban, ordinary people are demonstrating an extraordinary willingness to fight back.
But defeating the right-wing’s bigoted, anti-worker agenda will require more than defensive action. The Left must also put forward a positive, alternative vision with bold demands that can unite working people in struggle for a better future.
The demand for a $15/hour minimum wage is one part of that broad program.
Last year when NJ legislators proposed carve-outs that would have disproportionately impacted women, immigrant workers and people of color, our movement answered them with a swift and decisive NO. That’s the kind of solidarity we’re going to need to stop Trump and his collaborators in their tracks.
