A Day Without a Woman

Join us on International Women’s Day to show your support for women’s rights and to show solidarity with the Women’s March movement.
We will kick-off the hour with a moment of silence on Palmer Square Green to reflect on how far we have come as women, and how far we still have to travel.
Then, Homefront will share a few thoughts on the wonderful work they are doing to support disadvantaged women in our area.
Finally, we will do a short walking tour of women owned businesses, many of whom will be collecting donations to support Homefront, and will also be offering a 10% discount when you mention #ADayWithoutAWoman.
Please wear red, make a sign and bring a friend!
If you can’t make it, you can still show your solidarity by:
1. Wearing red
2. Taking a day off from paid or unpaid work
3. Shopping at a women or minority owned business – we will add the list to this page very shortly.
