No Ban: A Refugee Benefit Concert

February 25, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

#NoBan: A Benefit Concert for Refugees, Immigrants, and Asylum-Seekers is our response to the Trump administration’s recent immigration ban.
We believe that people of all races and religions are welcome in the US, and we feel that it is our responsibility as Americans to extend both aid and asylum to those who are less fortunate or less safe than ourselves.
As musicians, we hope to use our art to stand in solidarity with people of all backgrounds and to raise funds for organizations that provide aid and work to resettle refugees, both abroad and in the US.
Come join us for an evening of Klezmer music and solo, chamber, and orchestral repertoire.

Aaron Copland – Quiet City
Antonin Dvořák – Symphony No. 9 “From the New World”
Malek Jandali – Phoenix in Exile
& more
