This event honors the fifth anniversary of Trayvon Martin’s killing. It will involve a reflection, reading, singing, and candle lighting, and a silent march for Trayvon and all the people harmed by police officers, security guards, and vigilantes supported by a system of racially coded violence against people of color.
Those of you can’t make it, please light a candle for Trayvon and post it to this page and your own facebook profile in his honor.
Our march will end at a TBD location, where there will be open mic performances (monologues, commentary, poetry, etc) on police brutality and racial violence.
