NJ-4 Town Hall with Rep. Chris Smith

The meeting will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from 6-8PM at the Monmouth County Library, 125 Symmes Drive, Manalapan, NJ 07726 (where Smith met with the Alzheimer’s Association). Rep. Chris Smith has been invited to attend a nonpartisan public meeting to address his constituents’ concerns about health care. Questions will be shared with him before the meeting.The goal of the town hall is to provide a platform for members of the 4th District to express their concerns about the Affordable Care Act (ACA). According to research from the Kaiser Family Foundation, more than 50,000 people in the 4th District stand to lose coverage if the ACA is repealed.
A medical professional will explain potential impact on the healthcare field; the audience will share stories and questions; and an expert will explain the recently released proposal to replace the ACA.
