A panel discussion on the community’s challenges and triumphs in the areas of mental health, LGBTQ issues, incarceration, education and community activism.
Black Lives Matter-Newark is an in-depth examination of why Black Lives Matter in Newark and other communities like Newark, from the perspective of individuals who work in the trenches of social activism, mental health, law enforcement and education. At the end of the discussion, panelists will give “Action Steps” in their particular areas, that you can take to improve your own lives and the lives of your family members and friends.
